Just picture it… you’re on Martha’s Vineyard… at one of the most beautiful vacation destinations on the planet… in a beautiful home… less than a block from the beach… with people who “get it”… exploring… having fun… learning with others… sharing with others… making life-long connections.

Anyone interested in raw food + vacation on the gorgeous island of Martha’s Vineyard. We will spend a full afternoon talking about the business side of teaching classes to others, so this is geared towards entrepreneurs and those who want to share raw food with others. HOWEVER, if you want to skip the business side to explore the island on your own during that afternoon, that would be perfectly fine.

4 days/3 nights of biking, hiking, exploring, un-cooking and a nice mix of relaxation and adventure

***Check-in is Friday, October 15 at 3:45pm (you may arrive late, but please be here by 5pm at latest so as not to miss any of the food preparation!)
***Check-out is Monday, October 18 at 10am

Main Street, Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

Enjoy a mix of learning, relaxation, exploration with other like-minded travelers. And have an amazing vacation at the same time. :-)

Getting Here

We will mostly be “in class” in the late mornings and evenings. We’ll start with Level 1 and work our way into Level 2 and the “extra” classes such as almond mylk and ice cream.

The exception is that on Sunday we’ll spend a relaxed afternoon/early evening in the garden and on the sun porch talking about the business side of teaching classes and how to teach others as well. I will share my class template with you and a laminated copy of the Educator’s Teaching Guide (like a class in a box).

Scheduling everything with flexibility means the lunch time and afternoons can be spent enjoying the sunshine and biking, walking or picnicking for those who would like that. Or something else entirely.

It also means honoring the way of life on the island. This is the sort of place where you go with the flow and take it easy. This is part of why we’ve chosen not to create a set agenda because we can be more flexible with what we are doing.

For example – on Saturday evenings – 3 blocks away – there is a local and very popular film society screening at the historic theatre – but I don’t want to plan it in b/c I don’t know if everyone would be up for that. It’s really magical, and I always enjoy going there. The building has ceilings that are maybe 50 feet tall? I’m not sure of the number, but it’s huge, and there are BEAUTIFUL murals of the island towns and stories on each wall. I’m a member of the MV Film Society because I love supporting what they are doing and would be so thrilled to share it with you if you’d like. But we could also branch off and go to different areas of the island.

On Sunday evenings – 3 blocks away in a different direction – there is a local dance hall where we can take classes on how to do the waltz – it’s rather charming – but I want to leave room for everyone to enjoy the vacation in the way that is the most appealing to them. I mean, you’re coming to enjoy Martha’s Vineyard and some amazing raw food and classes, not to learn the waltz! So again, we can branch off and do different things or stay together – whatever you want.
